MOOR PARK GOLF CLUB
HERTFORDSHIRE
The brief was to create an immersive virtual tour was able to capture the physical space in a way that conventional photography was unable to and to give visitors a sense of the space and ability to imagine how they may use it by being able to move around it in a realistic way. The tour also had to encompass all aspects of the multifaceted business, providing information and detail for each to ensure all potential customers could immediately get excited about becoming customers and imagine how they would use the venue/club.
All aspects of the business revolves around the magnificent mansion, we wanted to allow viewers to explore the business by exploring the mansion and the grounds. By doing so in a realistic way they would get a sense of the space - allowing themselves to imagine being there and using the space, whilst also finding the area that they would be most interested in and finding out the information that they were seeking.

THE SHOOT
As always, we were flexible when arranging the shoots, understanding that it’s an active business with bookings we didn’t want to disrupt, so we waited for the right day where we were able to move round the space in a way that did not conflict with any bookings which was achieved by simple logistics of shooting certain rooms at certain times. We shot the interior in one day and came back another day to catch the venue at sunrise to capture the images in favourable light and when the venue was quiet.

BESPOKE FEATURES
It was imperative to make the online space feel as close to possible as the physical space and we used various bespoke features to fulfil this. One way was to recreate the signage that can be found at the venue, which is needed to help online visitors navigate and helps recreate the feeling of the venue itself. Another important custom feature was the added information on both the history of the venue and the use of the spaces themselves. Clickable ‘I’ hotspots provide details on the context of the current room and it’s potential uses and capabilities. As well as informative hotspots, visual ones also give a greater sense of the physical space through architectural details, views from windows and alternative photos showing the spaces set up for different uses.
We Also added a feature that meant the staff were able to host online guided tours for potential clients that meant they are able to have clients join over built in phone or video conversations while the control the tour and show the clients round the space, showing them the areas that they would be most interested to know more about.
